I am originally from Mexico City, the largest metropolis in North America with a population of 23 million people. The city simultaneously has every possible water issue including scarcity, flooding, sinking, poor quality, and unequal access. It is here I realized how water touches every aspect of our lives, and how we often fail to appreciate its value until it's gone. [...]
“Humanity is on thin ice,” UN Secretary-General António Guterres said during a video message in March 2023. “And that ice is melting fast."

Although the time went by so quickly, I appreciated how much I saw and learned in such a short amount of time. I left feeling inspired by what other countries are doing in the sustainability space. We took a closer look at three programs: Accelerating Climate Solutions; Africa Rising: Understanding Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Complexities of a Continent; and Moving Beyond DTC (Direct to Consumer). [...]

With over 500 tickets sold, the Symposium, held on HBS campus on November 6, 2022, facilitated conversation and reflection between leaders and experts from all areas and industries about the challenges and opportunities of climate change.
