Tell us about your background before coming to HBS.

I’m a born and raised New Englander. I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and then headed to Yale for college. I continued west to Los Angeles, where I worked in the media industry for 6 years - for Creative Artists Agency and then for a studio based film and television production company. Getting my MBA at Kellogg brought me halfway back to New England and then family brought me all the way back home. I’ve been working at HBS for the past 11 years.

Tell us about your role in CPD.

I’m fortunate to have a very diverse role in the Career & Professional Development office – working with students, alumni and hiring organizations. My team manages our external marketing & communications to recruiters; as well as promotes all of our great resources to alumni. In addition, I get to travel the US and abroad to develop relationships with global organizations interested in hiring talent from HBS. I work closely with our technology and media recruiting partners, helping organizations think about how best to connect with our students and alumni.

What do you enjoy most about covering technology & media?

I love that both industries are so vast, creative and constantly evolving. Staying up on the latest technologies & innovations is challenging, but something I truly enjoy. I also appreciate that the tech and media focused students and alumni I speak with are equally excited about the space.

Tell us a fun fact.

Traveling and live music are my passions. Traversing the globe to see bands like U2 (saw my 50th show in Dublin in 2015) has enabled me to meet some incredible people and have once in a lifetime experiences.
