Welcome to the third annual Gender & Work research symposium. This year's event, "Research to Change the World: Translating Ideas, Transforming Practice," will bring together scholars and practitioners to explore how research can effectively reach and influence practice to advance gender equity in business and society. Attendees include faculty from U.S. and international institutions, HBS faculty, alumni, and practitioners from a range of industries. The symposium will feature panel presentations and interactive sessions exploring the relationship between research and practice and addressing varied sites and mechanisms of influence, including classroom teaching; practitioner-oriented publishing; using research to inform organizations; and conducting organizational interventions as venues for creating change through disseminating, translating, and applying research.
The symposium will be held on the Harvard Business School campus in Boston, MA on April 2nd and 3rd, 2015.
