Mission Statement
The Management Consulting Club is one of the most popular student clubs on campus with an annual membership of over 250 students. We aim to serve as a bridge between the industry and Harvard Business School students, making the recruitment process into consulting as painless as possible. Each year, we organize various events to educate students about career opportunities within the consulting industry, coordinate with employers to publicize open positions, and provide students with resources to prepare for consulting interviews. Further, we try to address some of the most common challenges faced by students, by passing along useful information and helpful tools, providing transparency to the recruiting process, and coordinating students for case preparation.
Benefits:
Each member gets free access to all club events, organized with the purpose of helping with full-time/internship recruitment and gaining visibility into the industry. Key events include: live case prep workshops hosted by David Ohrvall (author of Crack the Case) and Jenny Rae (Management Consulted), industry panels, and social events. All students also receive a free copy of the book ‘Crack the Case’. Additionally, many companies submit job postings and events exclusively to club members. Students also have the option of participating in case prep mentorship groups with second-year students who have successfully received offers.
Activities:
Consulting Career Fair, Speaker Series, Career Panels, Case Interview Workshops, Social Events, Case Prep Mentorship Groups
Value Proposition:
The consulting club provides resources and mentorship to help prepare members for consulting interviews and secure jobs in the consulting industry.
