CPD is excited to announce that the 2019-2020 recruiting calendar is now available.

If you are ready to start thinking about how and when you want to engage with students for internship or full-time recruiting in 2019-2020, we are happy to help you with that process. There are many ways to engage with students at HBS. For those companies that choose to participate in recruiting, below you’ll find all the information you need to get started.

Date requests for Interviews, Company Presentations, and Company Conversations are now open in our recruiting platform. All requests received by Friday, May 17 will be reviewed and confirmed by Friday, June 7. Requests received after May 17 will be reviewed and confirmed on a rolling basis after June 7.

What’s New for 2019-2020?

Before you take a look at the dates available for events and interviews, there are three changes to recruiting at HBS that we wanted to share with you. We feel these changes will benefit both recruiting partners and students.

1) Internship interviews in January will be held on-campus instead of at a local hotel. We look forward to hosting recruiting partners at HBS! As always, interviews can also be held off-campus at a local venue or virtually if you prefer.

2) Bidding, the process in which students could use bid points to secure a spot on an interview schedule without being selected by the company, will no longer be part of the interview process. Recruiters will now be able to select 100% of their candidates.

3) Introducing Interview Flex! We will continue to offer days for full-time and internship interviews during which no classes are held (see the recruiting calendar and valid dates). However, if a later date works better for your company we will be happy to help manage your Interviews around class time. Internship interviews can generally begin at 3:00pm and full-time interviews can begin at 9:00am due to varying class schedules.

Let’s Talk Strategy

As you consider which events and interview options work best for your company, we encourage you to connect with your industry specific Recruiting Relations Manager.

Recruiting Relations Managers are available to help you think through your recruiting strategy at HBS and suggest recruiting options that have worked well for companies like yours. If you are new to your role and your company has recruited at HBS previously, Recruiting Relations Managers are also a great source of historical background on your company’s recruiting and can provide details on past attendance, application numbers, and/or student feedback.

Not Ready? No Problem!

Also, keep in mind that there is no rush. All requests received between May 6 and May 17 will be considered exactly the same in the date lottery, this is not a first-come first-served process.

Plus whether you are planning to recruit on-campus, off-campus, or virtually, recruiting options are available throughout the academic year. Hiring timelines vary and we are here to support you whenever you’re ready.

We look forward to working with you in the upcoming year.
