Networking Events
Post your event on our recruiting platform 12twenty to effectively connect with HBS students and build brand awareness. Successful events prioritize a meaningful conversation around company values, opportunities, and career paths.
Use the resume books and student clubs to find interested students. Email club leaders to market events via newsletters or group chats. Some clubs may require yearly sponsorship to host events, participate in conferences, and advertise job postings, events, and more.
All events must be approved by HBS Career & Professional Development.
This 1:1 or small group coffee chat style event allows for high-level engagement between the organization and participating students.
- Quick introduction with majority of time dedicated to discussion and Q&A
- Up to 8 students per timeslot
- May select 20, 30, or 45-minute timeslots
- Option for consecutive timeslots (example: 4:00-6:00 pm with four 30-minute timeslots, up to 8 students per timeslot)
Event Times
- First Year Timeslots
- On-campus & virtual: may be held between 3:30pm–9:00pm ET
- Off-campus: may be held between 5:30pm–9:00pm ET
- Second Year Timeslots
- On-campus & virtual: may be held between 9:00am–9:00pm ET
- Off-campus: may be held between 5:30pm–9:00pm ET
Locations
- On-Campus: 6–10-person conference room
- Virtually: Online software of your choice
- Off-Campus: Venue of your choice; organizations are responsible for all off-campus event logistics
Signup Options
- Open Signups: Any HBS student may attend. Utilize the HBS recruiting platform 12twenty or provide an external signup option
- By Invitation: Select your invite list and reach out directly to students
This event format may be suitable for organizations that typically attract a large number of students and prefer a single time slot.
- Quick introduction with majority of time dedicated to discussion and Q&A
- Unlimited number of students
- 45-minute afternoon timeslot or 90-minute evening timeslot
Event Times
- First & Second Year Timeslots
- On-campus: 3:30pm and 4:30pm ET
- Off-campus: 5:30pm and 7:30pm ET
- Virtual: 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 7:30pm ET
Locations
- On-Campus: 90-person classroom
- Virtually: Online software of your choice
- Off-Campus: Venue of your choice; organizations are responsible for all off-campus event logistics

Our office will post multi-school webinars on the HBS recruiting platform 12twenty if they do not conflict with classes. We encourage companies to record webinars to make them available to all students.
Companies must manage all logistics but may utilize the HBS recruiting platform 12twenty for signups. We will approve these events with a 5:30pm or 7:30pm ET start time and a duration of up to 90 minutes.
