When I joined the Senior Executive Leadership Program (SELP) at Harvard Business School, I wasn’t entirely sure how it would impact my career. I was already leading Business Transformation at Legrand India and had spent years gaining diverse industry experience across the manufacturing, oil and gas, and energy sectors. My goal wasn’t just to refine my skills—I wanted to broaden my perspective on strategy, innovation, and leadership in a world that was rapidly evolving. HBS offered the perfect platform for exploration.

Initially, I viewed SELP as a way to equip myself with cutting-edge insights to drive change more effectively. What I didn’t expect was how profoundly the program would shift my approach to leadership and purpose. HBS taught me to think beyond processes and frameworks, focusing instead on authenticity and the values that define impactful leadership.

My career before HBS had been driven by extensive execution and deep functional expertise. I had been fortunate to work in various domains, from strategic sourcing to operations, but I was searching for something more—a vision for the kind of leader I wanted to become. My time at HBS gave me clarity: I found leadership is not just achieving results but inspiring teams and creating meaningful impact.

One of the most transformative parts of the program was the dynamic interaction with my peers. Our group sessions were not just about discussing case studies; they were about understanding our individual journeys, challenges, and aspirations. These moments gave me a greater appreciation for my own strengths and a renewed sense of purpose. Engaging with the individuals featured in case studies further enriched the experience. Hearing firsthand how they navigated complex transformations brought the lessons to life in a way I hadn’t experienced before.

After graduating from SELP, I returned to Legrand with a fresh perspective. The program’s flexible format had allowed me to balance my professional responsibilities with learning, and the transition back to work felt seamless yet profound. Armed with the frameworks and values I had developed, I began tackling challenges with renewed confidence. Complex issues felt more manageable, and I found myself approaching problems with a more strategic and holistic lens.

My career has continued to evolve since SELP. As Country Head of Supply Chain during the pandemic, I navigated operational complexities that taught me invaluable lessons in resilience and Later as CEO at Numeric I learned the power of collective strategy, growth mindset and Inspired Teams.

Now, as Sales Director for Legrand India, I’m excited to build on this legacy, driving transformations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers and communities.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned leadership isn’t about fitting into a mold—it’s about understanding who you are and the values that drive you. My journey has been defined by diverse challenges, inspiring teams, and an unwavering commitment to purpose. Every role is an opportunity to touch lives and create impact, and that’s where true fulfillment lies.

HBS wasn’t just a chapter in my career—it was the turning point that helped me align my aspirations with actionable strategies.
