    Harvard Business School Announces 2025 Goldsmith Fellows

    Harvard Business School (HBS) has announced the 2025 recipients of its Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowships. Established in 1988 by the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation and Richard L. Menschel (MBA 1959), a former director of the foundation and a limited partner at Goldman Sachs, to encourage students from the nonprofit and public sectors to attend HBS, these fellowships enable the School to award $10,000 to a select number of incoming MBA students for each of the two years of the MBA program.       Harvard Business School Professor Emeritus Jay W. Lorsch Dies at 92

      Jay W. Lorsch, the Louis E. Kirstein Professor of Human Relations, Emeritus at Harvard Business School (HBS) and a renowned expert on corporate boards who also did seminal early work on the relationship between environment and the organization, passed away on August 5 at the age of 92. In a distinguished career that spanned over five decades, Lorsch influenced generations of students and practitioners through his teaching and scholarship that contributed significantly to the shape of modern corporate governance and the development of new approaches to understanding organizational behavior.       Harvard Business School Announces Its 2025-2026 Blavatnik Fellows

      Harvard Business School (HBS) has named its 2025-26 Blavatnik Fellows and the program’s twelfth cohort. Launched in 2013, the Blavatnik Fellowship in Life Science Entrepreneurship is part of a gift to Harvard University from the Blavatnik Family Foundation. The Blavatnik Fellowship offers HBS alumni and Harvard-affiliated postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to advance new ventures around promising life science technologies and develop their leadership talents during a 12-month fellowship year.       Harvard Business School (HBS) held its 115th Commencement exercises yesterday with a diploma ceremony on its campus in Boston.       Harvard Business School's MBA Class of 2025 Celebrates Class Day

      On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, all 929 members of the Harvard Business School (HBS) MBA Class of 2025 gathered at Baker Lawn under clear skies to celebrate Class Day. Taking place the day before Commencement, Class Day is an annual event organized by graduating students to celebrate the achievements, contributions and community of the graduating MBA class. Along with family, friends, and guests, graduates honored five faculty teaching award recipients and listened to speeches from classmates and one of this year’s Alumni Achievement Award winners.
