Anke Becker is an Assistant Professor in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at Harvard Business School.
Anke’s areas of research include economic development, political economy, economics of gender, and behavioral economics. Her recent work examines culture and gender, specifically gender-specific norms and how they help us understand entrepreneurship in developing countries.
Anke earned her Ph.D. from the University of Bonn. Prior to joining HBS, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Culture, Cognition, and Coevolution Lab at Harvard University.
