Christina Wing is a Senior Lecturer in the Technology and Operations Management Unit at Harvard Business School. Her research focuses on families in business, and she is the creator of Demystifying the Family Enterprise, a course that explores family dynamics, operating companies, family offices, and legacy opportunities. In recognition of her contributions to the field, she was named a Top 25 Family Enterprise Academic by Family Capital.
Christina chairs the executive education program Families in Business and frequently teaches in family office and HBS/Young Presidents’ Organization programs internationally. She has also taught Technology Operations Management (TOM) and Leadership and Corporate Accountability (LCA) in the MBA program. A firm believer that you can have it all—just not all at once, she brings that perspective to her work with families navigating transitions. Christina is a sought-after speaker on leadership, family enterprise, and managing difficult conversations across both family and business contexts.
She is the founder of Wingspan Legacy Partners, an advisory firm helping enterprising families and founders navigate the intersections of family dynamics, business operations, wealth, legacy, and philanthropic impact. Christina believes families have an outsized opportunity to shape society and, with the right guidance, can be global leaders.
Before joining the HBS faculty and founding Wingspan, Christina held senior roles across finance and general management. Most recently, she served as president and CEO of a family office, overseeing investments in real estate, art, collectibles, private equity, and philanthropy. Earlier in her career, she worked in finance and operations at a startup venture and began her professional journey in equities and energy investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Kidder Peabody.
Christina is a Senior Advisor at Crestview Partners, a private equity firm focused on the middle market. She also serves on the Advisory Boards of F3 Partners, Northrim Horizon, and Corvias, and is a member of the Board of Ambassadors for The Steppingstone Foundation, which provides educational opportunities to underserved children.
A native of The Woodlands, Texas, Christina holds a B.B.A. in finance and organizational behavior and business policy from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She is passionate about her family, dogs, friends, students, family clients, and golf.
