Join us for the third annual Harvard Climate Action Week (September 15-21), culminating in the Salata Institute’s Harvard Climate Symposium: Pathways for Progress on Energy and Climate (September 19-21). The week includes events organized by schools and centers across the University. Leaders from government, business, the non-profit sector, and academia will explore actions to enhance resilience to a changing climate and advance efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Participants will discuss what is politically viable, effective, scalable, and which solutions are durable for the short-, medium-, and long-term.

This event will bring together Harvard alumni and faculty from across schools, industries, and disciplines to build connections. The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability, HBS’s Business and Environment Initiative and HLS's Environmental & Energy Law Program invite you to join us on April 23rd at the University Club of San Francisco for a panel discussion on how businesses, policymakers, and communities can better prepare for, respond to, and recover from climate-driven disasters. Beating the heat is an increasing challenge. But too many proposed solutions have limited immediate impact or support. Investors, activists, and community members want returns faster. Please join us on January 23rd, 2025 in Miami for a session led by Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter featuring leadership challenges, strategies, and tactics from some potentially high-impact ventures with “cool” solutions that can reinvent industries, scale quickly, and make stakeholders more comfortable and supportive.
