Jo Ellery

Harvard College, Class of 2021; current HBS PhD Candidate
Jo Ellery (they/them), originally from Traverse City, Michigan, graduated Harvard College in 2021, with an A.B. in Applied Mathematics. They worked with Professor Matt Weinzierl in the Business, Government and the International Economy Unit during PRIMO Summer 2019.

Jo started their PhD Program in Fall 2022 in the Business Economics track at HBS. They’re interested in public economics, macroeconomics, and labor economics.

Stella Jia

UC Berkeley, Class of 2025
Stella Jia (she/her) was born in the Bay Area and grew up in California. The unique presence of technology in the Bay Area led her to study statistics and data science at UC Santa Barbara before transferring to UC Berkeley as a rising junior. She worked with Professor Jackie Lane in the Technology and Operations Unit during PRIMO Summer 2023.

Shira Li

Harvard College, Class of 2019; current HBS PhD Candidate
Shira Li (she/her), originally from New Jersey, graduated from Harvard College in 2019, with an A.B. in Math and Computer Science and a secondary in Statistics. She worked with Professor Scott Duke Kominers in the Entrepreneurial Unit during PRIMO Summer 2017.

Shira started her PhD program in Fall 2022 in the Business Economics track at HBS. Her research interests include finance, industrial organization, and market design.

Heavenlei Thomas

Baylor University, Class of 2024
Heavenlei Thomas (she/her) grew up in Houston, Texas. She had not been to the East coast until moving to start the PRIMO program. She is a rising college senior and first-generation student studying psychology and business at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She worked with Professor Ashley Whillans in the Negotiation, Organizations, and Markets Unit during PRIMO Summer 2023.

Raghav Warrier (he/him) was born in South Florida and raised in Arizona by his parents who emigrated from South India in the late 90s. He enrolled in public education throughout his upbringing and is currently at Arizona State University studying computer science, mathematics, and economics. He worked with Professor Shane Greenstein in the Technology and Operations Management Unit during PRIMO Summer 2023.
