Introducing Full-Tuition Scholarships Based on Need
Today we announced a new phase in our efforts to ensure that HBS is affordable for talented students from every socioeconomic background: beginning this fall, 10 percent of our student body – those with the greatest financial need – will receive full-tuition scholarships.
Based on extensive research, we understand that financial concerns are the number one barrier to pursuing a full-time MBA. And it makes sense: an MBA is a big investment that continues to pay off over the long run.
Even as the long-term earnings of a Harvard MBA continue to increase, we have been diligently addressing the upfront costs of an MBA by offering the largest need-based scholarship program of any MBA program in the world, increasing those scholarships year after year, holding tuition flat for the past four years, and introducing a need-based application fee waiver.
