Yet Minevich doesn’t think that looming catastrophes need to be the reason people act now. “As business leaders, we can directly impact the progress of initiatives and solutions to address environmental needs,” he says.

The Business and Environment Initiative provided Minevich with a great platform to meet classmates, alumni, and Executive Education students who are all interested in environmental issues. Those connections are beneficial for both networking in the energy field as well as general knowledge aggregation.

“It’s also great to connect with people who share similar passions,” says Minevich. “They further augment my understanding of issues and solutions by sharing their experience.”
