Channing Spencer is a Doctoral Candidate in the Organizational Behavior program jointly offered by Harvard Business School and the Department of Sociology at Harvard. She is also an affiliate of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS).

Her research interests include workplace & labor market inequality, entrepreneurship, and innovation. She is particularly interested in applications at the intersection of business and policy.
 
Channing holds an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard, where her research examined the economic, social, and political status of domestic workers in Brazil and employer-employee relations in the informal labor market. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked at Microsoft and Pearson PLC.
