BOSTON—Serrena A. Iyer (MBA 2018) has been selected as the student speaker for Harvard Business School's Class Day celebration on Wednesday, May 23, the day before Harvard University’s Commencement exercises. She was chosen by her peers through an audition process that included more than 50 student speeches. Raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, Iyer studied applied mathematics at Yale College, where she spent the spring semester of her junior year in President Barack Obama’s White House, working in the National Economic Council. At Yale, she also won a Louis Sudler Prize for excellent in the arts for her production of a feature-length “Bollywood” film. Iyer’s internships have taken her to McKinsey and Company in London; A24 Films, an independent American entertainment company in New York City; and MRC, a television and film studio in California. |
