BOSTON—Bloomberg Philanthropies and Harvard University are jointly announcing the launch of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, an unparalleled collaboration to advance leadership, management and innovation in cities across America and around the world. Funded by a $32 million gift from Michael R. Bloomberg and administered through Harvard, the Initiative will equip city leaders with the tools, skills and support increasingly required to tackle the complex leadership and management challenges faced in governing cities around the globe. BOSTON—The summer issue of Savoy magazine, a quarterly national publication that focuses on African-American culture, business, and lifestyle, has named four Harvard Business School (HBS) faculty members to its “Power 300” list of 2016’s most influential black corporate directors: James I. Cash, the School’s James E. Robison Professor of Business Administration Emeritus; Linda A. Hill, the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration; and Senior Lecturers Henry W. Harvard Business School’s HBX Announces New Finance Certificate Program, Set to Enroll First Participants in November
BOSTON—HBX, Harvard Business School’s digital education initiative, is launching a new online certificate program, HBX Finance: Leading with Finance. The new program provides business leaders with a thorough understanding of the principles of finance and the confidence to clearly communicate those decisions to key internal and external stakeholders.
