Harvard Launches New MS/MBA Biotechnology: Life Sciences Joint Degree
BOSTON and CAMBRIDGE—Harvard Business School (HBS) and Harvard’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) announced today a new joint master’s degree program that aims to prepare future leaders at the interface of life sciences and business. The two-year, full-time program begins in August 2020 and will confer both a Master of Business Administration from HBS and a Master of Science from GSAS. Students in the program will receive business training at HBS and life-science training at Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) and Harvard Medical School (HMS), coordinated by Harvard’s Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology (HSCRB) and HBS. Harvard Business School and Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Announce Gift of Financial Aid to Support Joint Degree Program Students
BOSTON—Harvard Business School (HBS) and the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) have received a gift from Denise Dupré and Mark Nunnelly (MBA 1984) in support of student financial aid for the Schools’ joint MS/MBA program in Engineering Sciences. Launched in 2018, the degree program is integral to advancing the vision for Harvard in Allston and the expanding opportunities of collaboration and innovation between HBS and SEAS. Read more.

Harvard Business School Announces $10 Million Gift Renewal from the Blavatnik Family Foundation and Introduces 2019-2020 Blavatnik Fellows in Life Science Entrepreneurship
BOSTON—Harvard Business School (HBS) has named its 2019-2020 Blavatnik Fellows in Life Science Entrepreneurship. Launched in 2013, the Blavatnik Fellowship was part of a $50 million gift to Harvard University from the Blavatnik Family Foundation, headed by Len Blavatnik (MBA 1989). In 2019, an additional $10 million was provided by the foundation to support the Fellowship through 2029. Read more.
