Harvard Business School to Convene More Than 400 Leaders in Washington, DC to Discuss the Business and Politics of Improving U.S. Competitiveness
BOSTON—On Thursday, June 21, Harvard Business School (HBS) will convene Paths Forward, an event that is part of the school's U.S. Competitiveness Project. The Paths Forward event series convenes leaders in economic centers throughout the country to discuss actionable steps to improve U.S. competitiveness, or the ability of firms operating in the U.S. to compete globally while supporting high and rising living standards for Americans. New Harvard Business School Exhibit Chronicles China Trade
BOSTON—A new exhibit, A Chronicle of the China Trade: The Records of Augustine Heard & Co., 1840-1877, recently opened in the north lobby of Baker Library | Bloomberg Center on the Harvard Business School campus in Boston. Organized by the Baker Library Historical Collections, part of the School's Knowledge and Library Services, the exhibit is free and open to the public and HBS community. It will run until November 17, 2012. Read more.

New vaccine delivery process wins Harvard University President's Challenge for social entrepreneurship
BOSTON—A business idea born in a Harvard classroom to improve the delivery of vaccines in developing countries has been selected as the grand prize winner of the Harvard University President's Challenge for social entrepreneurship. The challenge was sponsored by Harvard President Drew Faust and hosted by the Harvard Innovation Lab (i-lab) to help students develop their ideas and create ventures of high social impact in five categories — clean water, personal health, empowered education, global health, and clean air — while still in school.
