Undergraduate students: Do you think an MBA is just for “corporate types”? Think again! The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is one of the most flexible master’s degrees you can find.
We invite you to join us for Peek, an annual virtual program in January for undergrads considering an MBA. Through Peek you can explore options for your future and learn how an MBA can help you develop general management skills that you can use in any career and in any kind of organization – from for-profit businesses to non-profit organizations, from your own start-up to the world’s largest companies, and everything in between.
At Peek you’ll have the opportunity to attend multiple sessions that include a career workshop, mock case sessions, an alumni panel, and a current student panel! You’ll have the chance to interact with students from around the world to collectively grapple with management challenges under the guidance of HBS faculty members during our case method sessions.
Learn more about Peek and the registration process here or read our FAQs below.
What is the mission of Peek?
Peek is intended as an introduction to the MBA experience and the benefits of business school. As an attendee, you will learn how to thrive in a case method classroom environment, how to be an empathetic and strong team member, how to lead with humility to empower the efforts of others, and how to uncover your personal brand and put it to work to help you further your goals.
Who is eligible to apply?
Peek 2024 is open to all current domestic and international undergraduate students from all academic majors who have a graduation date that falls between October 2023 and December 2029.
When is the right time to participate in Peek?
The right time is whenever in your undergraduate career you are exploring the idea of grad school and want to learn more about an MBA.
What can I expect during the event?
Peek attendees are given the ability to participate in a case method session with HBS faculty, a leadership discussion, an HBS Career and Professional Development event, and to connect with current students and other Peek participants from around the world!
What is the time commitment for participating in Peek?
You have the flexibility to pick the events that fit your schedule. There will be over 12 hours of programming for you to choose from over the course of the 3 days. You can choose as much or as little as your schedule allows.
Do I get a certificate?
No, this program is an exploratory program to understand the benefits of a business education. Students already interested in an MBA may apply directly to the 2+2 Program during their final year of study.
Does this program help me to get into 2+2?
This does not offer any advantages in applying to the 2+2 Program, but we hope this gives you an idea of what to expect from an MBA and a peek behind the curtain at what HBS has to offer.
I did Peek last year and loved it! Can I attend again this year?
We are so excited you enjoyed your experience at Peek! However, since Peek programming is similar year to year, we recommend attending other Admissions programming instead of registering to attend Peek again. Check out other Admissions events.
