Miaomiao Zhang

Miaomiao Zhang is a doctoral candidate at the Technology & Operations Management Unit at Harvard Business School. Miaomiao received a B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Economics from Emory Univeresity. She worked at the Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School for two years before joining the doctoral program. Miaomiao is interested in the role of generative AI in shaping organizational knowledge production, learning, and innovation processes. Her current research focuses on human-AI collaboration in the early stage of innovation cycle, specifically idea generation, refinement, iteration, and evaluation. She works with open innovation platforms, accelerators, incubators, non-profits, and entreprenuerial ecosystem supporters in designing and executing experiments along with the Laboratory for Innovation Science Research (LISH) under Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute.
