Oluwagbemileke Jegede is a doctoral student in the Technology and Operations Management (TOM) unit at Harvard Business School. She received BBA and LLB degrees from Amity University and the University of Sierra Leone in 2015 and 2016 respectively, and an MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2020. Prior to Harvard, 'Leke worked as a lawyer for Basma and Macaulay and as a research lead for the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation in Sierra Leone. Her research interests are innovation incentives and technology commercialisation in African contexts.
