Siyu Zhang is a second-year doctoral student at HBS. Prior to joining HBS. He was a Data Scientist at John Hancock, where he utilized machine learning models to predict the classification of insurance policy applications. Siyu is a former Investment Director at CITIC group and has firsthand experience as a financial analyst and management accountant. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University and obtained his Master in International Business from Hult International Business School.
Siyu Zhang, joined Harvard Business School in 2020 as a Research Associate and has been working on macroeconomic forecasting projects. Prior to joining HBS, he was a Data Scientist at John Hancock, where he utilized machine learning models to predict the classification of insurance policy applications. Zhang received his B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University and obtained his Master in International Business from Hult International Business School. In his research, Siyu is interested in valuation and fundamental analysis, as well as earnings management regulation. In the long-term, he wishes to make an impact on solving real-world problems with immediate needs.
